Homemade birthday cupcakes for Sienna’s class, a dangerously leaning tree in the process of coming down with my brother Jacobs help, Elliot working hard on homework and on power washing the driveway, Elliot sporting his own design (a custom made ‘Stop Dabbing Be Happy’ sweatshirt) and also a picture where he is all dressed up for a party at school, and kids/cousins/uncles relaxing and playing various games..
Whereas Sienna can do magic in the kitchen, Elliot has always been quite the handy man outside. He mows the lawn, trims the hedge, and collects yard waste. Here he is featured doing some spring cleaning. The other pictures are from when my parents came for our traditional Easter lunch/dinner, plus our yearly visit to my grandma’s grave. Finally, there are some pictures from a family tournament at Elliot’s badminton club.
Sienna with her friend Filippa from school, Ella from skating, and cousin Maximillian. Elliot with his friend Marius from school and with some sand craft.
We got half a day of snow this winter so you had to be fast to enjoy it. Also pictured is Sienna and Mormor playing the fun game Patchwork, Elliot getting ready to eat his salami rice cake sandwich creation, Elliot doing homework with Mormor, and finally, Elliot and Sienna posing as models for a Amazon.com cutting board listing.
Elliot got a new bed for Christmas and in addition we also spiked up his room by painting green mountains on one of the walls. Other than that, the kids were busy with indoor activities such as various crafts, puzzles, LEGO, and movie making.
A trip to the zoo on a nice summer day, crafting presents for Bedstefar Carlos’ 70th birthday, and first day of school were some of the keywords for the month of August.
Crafts and Ipads are still an important part of everyday life here.
In April we also found the time to try out a new picnic place, have Mormor over for some quality time, play lots of Minecraft, read lots of Mr. Men books, do various crafts, and last but not least, Ellit delivered an outstanding performance as a penguin in the Kindergarten’s big farewell show.
